Prosthetic Contact Lenses
Prosthetic Contact Lenses
Prosthetic contact lenses are special type of soft contact lenses that are designed to improve the appearance of a disfigured eye caused due to any eye disease, trauma or birth defect. This lens covers or masks the abnormality and makes the eye look completely normal without any differentiation.
Certain eye conditions make the eyes look disfigured which in turn makes the patient unconfident to go out in public.
Prosthetic contact lenses are completely custom-made lenses since the eye shape becomes irregular and difficult to fit. These lenses are custom-designed using the exact shape and size of the disfigured eye along with the reference of a good or normal eye.
Full customization in the cornea diameter size, pupil diameter size along with eye color tone can be easily achieved.
